The Avalon Sanctuary is a modern wellbeing and retreat company founded by Kenwyn House and Leah Ray

Blending neuroacoustic sound therapy, meditation, parasympathetic nervous system optimisation, coaching, immersive retreat experiences, and holistic wellbeing practices. The Avalon Sanctuary was created in response to the increasing stress, overstimulation and emotional disconnection of modern life.

Drawing from both contemporary neuroscience and ancient restorative practices, The Avalon Sanctuary experiences are designed to help individuals reconnect to nature, peace, clarity, resilience and healthier states of presence. From transformational mini and day retreats to large-scale sanctuary experiences, each experience is created to help people come home to their true, balanced inner state of being, supporting healthier relationships, greater wellbeing, improved work-life balance, and deeper spiritual connection.

What our clients say...

Beautiful afternoon

A beautiful and wholesome sound therapy afternoon with Leah and Kenwyn. The supportive environment was felt so deeply — such a sensitive, nurturing, and beautifully held space. Thank you both ✨

A deeply moving experience

Thank you Leah & Kenwyn for creating a safe space for profound vulnerability. I felt held in the gentle & powerful loss of inhibition & control, leading to a beautiful & moving internal shift. The effects are still with me. 🤍

Soundbath very Zen

I have been to a few skin baths, but the one I took park on at The Avalon Sanctuary was phenomenal. It was very Zen and they used different techniques that I haven’t experience before. The only negative is it ended really quickly even thought the session was over an hour. Can’t wait for the next one!

Blissful Solstice Sound Bath

Leah and Kenwyn treated the group to a really unique sound bath, using instruments and vocals. The venue by the sea also made it special. I'd highly recommend this for people new to sound baths or more seasoned attendees. It was a beautiful way to spend winter solstice.

Brighton Winter Solstice Sound Bath

I have had a couple of sound baths before but this one was by far the best. The space was so beautiful and peaceful the moment you walked in. Leah & Kenwyn have a natural, peaceful energy that make you feel at ease straight away. During the sound bath, I floated in and out of a beautiful medative state - I am not a natural meditator, I find it very difficult to get into that space but the sound bath guided me.

I left feeling amazing, energised, relaxed, peaceful, wanting to go to the next.

Wonderful

We had a really fabulous experience. Deeply recommend.

Restful and nourishing

I loved this Solstice sound bath and felt warmed and surrounded by support from the range of beautiful sounds created. I felt immersed in the soundscape and enjoyed the meditation. Left feeling very peaceful, thank you! Will definitely come again 💟

Avalon Sanctuary Retreat

We (5 females) stayed at Kenwyn’s for the Spring Equinox. The views were breathtaking and the location ideal, just a short walk to Glastonbury Tor, the White Springs and the town centre. Easy drive from Bristol Airport. Great layout: one ensuite double, a room with 3 singles, a sofa bed, plus a well-equipped kitchen. The garden and countryside views were stunning. A clean, welcoming home that made our retreat special. Highly recommend. Thank you, Kenwyn!
